Disability
In order to provide our disabled students the best college experience, our university has many policies to ensure their academic success and well-being. These policies include but are not limited to policies and procedures regarding instruction, administration, social life, and physical access.
In addition to the policies and procedures in place, our university makes adjustments and accommodations to meet the individual needs of our disabled students. During registration, our disabled students have priority and are provided staff assistance for campus visits as well. Our classrooms and public areas are accessible for disabled students via accessible ramps, elevators, restrooms, and other means. We actively work on increasing the awareness of our faculty, staff, and students about disability. Our accommodations for disabled students include creating instructional materials to meet their needs, providing note taking services, making special arrangements for tests, offering accessible dormitories, and giving them priority for fellowships.
