Coursework
Our university focuses on flexible, dynamic, and interdisciplinary education. We aim to teach students both how to find/utilize reliable knowledge quickly and how to construct scientific knowledge. Our students are equipped with skills to process, discriminate, categorize, and disseminate knowledge and data in addition to similar information processing skills required by the job market. Effective communication, foreign language, individual and team work, leadership, respect towards and awareness about societal and environmental issues, a wide perspective, lifelong learning culture and the ability to use modern technology are some of the characteristics of our graduates.
In order to accomplish these goals, our coursework and its contents are designed in accordance with national and international standards and updated every year. We offer a wide range of electives to students, both related to their majors and outside their fields, which allows students to explore their secondary interests and makes it easier for them to take full advantage of national and international exchange programs.
The coursework is presented by experts in their fields and is informed by modern instructional guidelines and principles. Our instruction is student-centered and gives a larger role and agency to students. In applied fields, our students have the opportunity to use high tech laboratories, to apply their knowledge in near real life situations with the guidance of our expert faculty to improve their knowledge and skills. Our students in both applied and theoretical fields also take advantage of internships at renowned companies and institutions to put their knowledge to use in real life situations, which helps our students plan their careers more effectively. Our university has the infrastructure to accommodate all the needs of our students regarding the issues mentioned above through instructional tools and labs that support our instructional objectives and meet international standards.
