Psychology
Psychology is a scientific field that investigates emotional, behavioral and cognitive processes of humans and animaIs throughout their lives by using scientific methods. A psychologist is a person who has successfully completed their undergraduate degree and gained competence and necessary qualifications in this field.
Psychology has many subfields such as Experimental Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Social Psychology, among others.
Our goal is to help our students to acquire scientific thinking skills during their 4 years of undergraduate study in psychology. We prepare our students for both professional practices and postgraduate education with required and elective courses in our program.
The students who graduate from our program work as psychologists in many public institutions and organizations such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, and the Ministry of Justice. In addition, some of our graduates work as psychologists in private companies in the education and health sectors.
Our program has agreements with many universities abroad within the framework of Erasmus Study and internship mobility, For instance, some of our students took part in scientific research at University of Exeter (UK) and Gent University (Belgium) as part of this program.
